We invite you to send a postcard to Wellington City Council Councillors, in support of Wellington Timebank. Wellington Timebank has been funded by Wellington City Council for 11 years, and next year it looks as though our funding will be cut.
We believe Wellington Timebank is an integral part of the wider community, and so we would like you to help us make our voice heard! We are asking our Timebank members to help us bring the importance of Timebank to the attention of councillors, especially in the lead up to the October 2022 elections.
If you would like to make your voice heard about how important Wellington Timebank is to you, please download a postcard and edit it to add your message. You can send this to councillors at Wellington City Council at councillors@wcc.govt.nz, or print it off and drop it in to the Wellington Timebank office at 2a Green Street (Newtown Community Centre) or the city council offices on the terrace, or alternatively get a stamp and send it! We also have hard copies at the Timebank office if you would like to pop in.
